Dhal dumplings

Rice flour- 1 cup
Urad dhal-1 cup( soak urad dhal for atleast 1 hrs)
Toor dhal - 1 cup
Jaggery - 1 cup
cardamom - 2 nos
Oil- for deep frying
salt- little

1. Grind uradh dhal to a smooth paste.
2. Mix rice flour with warm water .
3. Mix it with urad dhal paste to idli batter consistency. Add a pinch of salt to it and keep it aside. (Tips:The batter which we prepare for medhuvada can be used for this)
4. Now pressure the toor dhal to one whistle and drain the water from it.
5. Now add the half cooked toor dhal, jaggery and cardamom in a mixer and press the pulse once.
6. Now make small balls out of poranam. Dip it inside the batter and deep fry it. Fry it in medium flame for that golden color.

It tastes yummy.
